Zachary Morganstein is a skilled Emergency Management Specialist at UCLA Health, bringing a comprehensive background in emergency services, preparedness, and security to the Executive MPH program. He holds a Master of Science degree in Emergency Management from the John Jay College (CUNY) and a Bachelor of Arts in Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity from the University of Albany.
Zachary’s expertise is grounded in both administrative leadership and hands-on emergency response. Prior to joining UCLA Health in 2022, he gained valuable experience at CrowdRX in New York, where he progressed through roles including Emergency Medical Technician, Communications Specialist, and Operations Coordinator.
His commitment to emergency response is further highlighted by his extensive volunteer leadership as the President and Vice President of the Five Quad Volunteer Ambulance Service, Inc. in Albany, New York, where he also served as an EMT for several years. Additionally, he interned with the NYS Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services. A licensed EMT in both New York and Florida, Zachary is focused on leveraging his operational and administrative skills to drive resilient and effective healthcare systems.
