How do you spend your free time?
“In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my kids. We often go to the playground, visit museums, explore malls, or do other fun activities together. I like making these moments meaningful and memorable, and it’s a great way for me to relax while staying engaged with my family.”
Why did you join the EMPH program?
“I joined the EMPH program because I have long been exposed to public health and deeply interested in improving healthcare systems. Seven years ago, I experienced the loss of my grandfather, who spent many years in and out of the hospital. Seeing the challenges he faced and the impact on our family made me realize how crucial it is to improve healthcare delivery and population health. Then, five years ago, I welcomed my first child—a truly miraculous experience. Bringing him into our lives involved working closely with a variety of healthcare experts, which gave me firsthand insight into the importance of high-quality care and coordinated support. These experiences motivated me to pursue formal training in public health so I can contribute to programs and policies that improve patient outcomes and support families.”
