
Kaitlin Bahr, PhD
Course: Introduction to Biostatistics
Dr. Kaitlin Bahr is the Biostats 201A lecturer for the UCLA Executive MPH program and a Professor in the Public Health program in the Department of Health Sciences at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She earned her PhD and MPH in epidemiology from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
Dr. Bahr’s research interests focus in epidemiology and public health, with a particular concentration in disaster preparedness. She has worked on past projects assessing disaster preparedness in vulnerable populations, interorganizational collaboration in disaster preparedness, the epidemiologic capacity of health departments, and attitudes and barriers towards vaccination among university students. She has also taken part in research collaborations across several disciplines, including nutrition and health administration.
