Elías Rodriguez, MPH is a higher education professional and public health specialist dedicated to Latino health, health workforce development, and equity-driven systems. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Community and Culture from UCLA (2020), Elías earned his Executive MPH in 2025. He serves as an Administrative Analyst in the UCLA Division of Graduate Education’s Office of Academic & Postdoctoral Services, supporting students, faculty, and institutional leadership while connecting public health policy to practical higher education and community administration. Beyond his academic policy work, Elías has contributed to research and programming uplifting Latino health outcomes and cultural preservation, including coordinating educational initiatives with UCLA’s Music of Mexico program and its renowned Mariachi de Uclatlán ensemble. 

During his EMPH studies, Elías applied his public health training to high-impact community and veteran health initiatives. For the EMPH Sinaiko Business Plan Competition, he teamed with classmate Vanessa Villafuerte to develop Salud en Casa, a mobile health concept delivering in-home pediatric urgent care to underserved families in Lamont (Kern County) to address social determinants of health. For his summer applied consulting project, Elías partnered with classmate Lisa Edwards to evaluate the clinical and organizational value of integrating patient storytelling into care delivery within the VA of California.
