Alicia Macklin is a partner at Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, where she advises hospitals, health systems, and behavioral health providers on complex regulatory and operational issues. She regularly advises clients on EMTALA compliance, behavioral health law, licensing, reimbursement, and privacy matters. Alicia co-chairs the firm’s Behavioral Health Practice Group and Health Equity Task Force, helping clients navigate evolving laws and advance equitable access to care.

She earned her JD from the University of Southern California and her MPH from UCLA, where she is now a Lecturer.
