Congratulations to the EMPH Class of 2026!

Congratulations to the extraordinary graduates of the Executive MPH (EMPH) Class of 2026:

(Pictured left to right) Trishna Singh, MPH; Rui Zhao, MPH; Maite Medina, MPH, RN; Emily Brown, MPH; Sarah Hakakha, MPH; Kennedy Anderson, MPH; Maya Camacho, MPH; Miguel Ramirez, MPH; Marina Martinez, MPH; Zachary Morganstein, MPH; Nicollette Doomany, MPH; Alexa Osime, MPH; and D’Artagnan DeBow, MD, MPH, MBA (not pictured).

Earning an Executive MPH degree in Health Policy and Management is no small feat, but doing so while navigating full-time careers, managing family priorities, and other life events? That takes a special kind of dedication and perseverance. Over the last two years, this incredible cohort converged on the UCLA campus every other weekend, taking every single class together, sharing laughs, trading insights, and powering through a rigorous curriculum.

The vast and varied professional backgrounds of these students didn’t just enrich their classroom discussions—they profoundly impacted the entire UCLA Fielding School of Public Health community.

Over their two-year journey, this cohort conquered academic and professional milestones, including:

Summer Consulting Projects: The students collaborated directly with leading public health organizations to solve real-world operational and policy challenges and presented them to an audience of faculty, preceptors, students, and faculty in their Fall 2025 Capstone Presentations.

Business Plans: Drawing directly from the program’s core curriculum in marketing, finance, and strategy, the students developed comprehensive, innovative healthcare business plans and pitched them to a distinguished panel of guest judges in the EMPH Sinaiko Business Plan Competition.

Leadership Capstone Seminar: Healthcare industry legend Tom Gordon led the students to examine principles and models of organizational leadership

While we are sad to see them leave the classroom, we are thrilled to watch them change the healthcare landscape. We wish them continued success and look forward to welcoming them back to campus as guest speakers, panelists, and alumni mentors.
